About the Author

Sharon Edwards has been a journalist for more than twenty years, first in local newspapers and currently for the BBC, specialising in politics and investigations.  She has won several journalism awards.

She was born in Lincolnshire and has lived there all her life.

 

She has a passion for history, including local history and the Second World War.  The Most Dangerous Spy was inspired by Lincolnshire's role in early military wireless listening, starting in the 1920s, and also the role of the RAF stations and personnel operating in Lincolnshire during the war itself.

Her hobbies are cooking, cycling - and writing!
